I grew up reading books like The Babysitter Club and The Boxcar Kids. Now I read Romance, Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Dystopian and any mixture of these all depending on what my mood is. I love Stephen King, Michael Connolly, JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Jane Austen, JK Rowling, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs and many others.
I was hoping to like this more than I did. I had a hard time with this as soon as I hit the first scene with Haden and his 'Get her to hate me' scheme was hatched. This right here is what ruined the book for me. I'd rather have seen it be about him trying to seduce Theia instead. But it wasn't like that. I've heard references from Hades and Persephone to this story and while I did kind of see it, I thought it was a poor imitation if that was it.
