I grew up reading books like The Babysitter Club and The Boxcar Kids. Now I read Romance, Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Dystopian and any mixture of these all depending on what my mood is. I love Stephen King, Michael Connolly, JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Jane Austen, JK Rowling, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs and many others.
A Touch Mortal
While I liked this well enough, I had a hard time just sitting and reading it. It felt like the story progressed very slowly. Even after the ending, I kinda felt like it was a bit anti-climatic. I was still waiting for something big to happen. The story was interesting. I liked the idea of the Siders. While I didn't lose myself in the story, I still enjoyed most of it. I did end up skimming parts of the book, waiting for something to finally happen. I will be reading the next book though.
