Wow. This was amazing! Creepy, but amazing. This was something unique, something completely different both in story and in character that I've ever read. What I loved about this first was Kendall. I know a lot of people say they have OCD. No, they don't. She is a true sufferer of the condition and it was great to get an insight of what that might actually be like.
Second, the story. What a story! I had a feeling getting into this it might not give me the HEA I usually love and enjoy. I cried. The struggles that Kendall goes through not only when her best friend and boyfriend go missing but what happens when her routines are thrown off and how she has to deal with the complications that come with it when it effects her OCD.
I have to say this book effected me more than I thought it would. After I finished it I started with the "What if's". What if they did this differently, what if this happened... It really made me feel like I was there living it instead of reading it. I love it when I get that involved in a book!
A superb story. Dark, creepy, twisted, and with a little bit of hope that shines through it all. McMann twists them all together for a perfect blend that kept me reading.
