I had a hard time getting through this. I loved the story completely but knowing this and the last Jaz book are the last books I will ever read by Jennifer saddens me. I love her writing and I think she had amazing talent. But this is a series I treasure. It is a wonderful story and I'm glad I have gotten to know her characters and grown to love them as I do.

The story itself was great. I felt the sadness and anger that Jaz felt when Vayl fell victim to the curse. And I rejoiced with her when it was broken. It all comes down to the final book next and I can't wait to see how everything plays out. I want to know how things turn out for the Trust and see how the final show down goes. My hats off to Rardin.
