I grew up reading books like The Babysitter Club and The Boxcar Kids. Now I read Romance, Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Dystopian and any mixture of these all depending on what my mood is. I love Stephen King, Michael Connolly, JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Jane Austen, JK Rowling, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs and many others.
The Iron King
I'm not sure I loved it as much as everyone seems to. While I liked it, I didn't find it amazing. I was actually waiting for Meghan to yell out "You have no power over me!" at the end. It was a cross of Neverending Story/Labyrinth with faeries mixed in. Although I did think the new twist of the industrial age of man was very interesting and entertaining.I will keep reading the series and see how it turns out. I like the writing style of Kagawa.
