One of my favorite series, I was on pins and needles reading this. Ms. Wells does not start us off easy at all. It's fast paced from the very start. Sabina is such a great character and I love the growth that we see in here. She is even called on it from a new friend. I loved the addition of Zen and Brooks to the line up. I thought they fit in perfectly.

What I love most about this series, aside from the sexy Adam, is how the wit comes in handy during stressful scenes. Wells uses it flawlessly, it never breaks up a scene and it is never over the top.

There were such tender moments in this book. They made my heart melt. And then scenes later my heart was ripped out. I'd like to say it was a roller coaster ride, but it was more like an elevator drop. Slow rise to the top and then the floor is just gone and you are left plummeting. I spent more time holding my breath, sitting on the edge of my seat, trying not to rush through to see how it would all end. I was left very satisfied at the ending.

I have to say I'm glad there will be atleast two more books in this series. I'm not sure where it will go from here, but I like that I don't know. I like that the author will most likely surprise me in the books to come.
