I grew up reading books like The Babysitter Club and The Boxcar Kids. Now I read Romance, Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Dystopian and any mixture of these all depending on what my mood is. I love Stephen King, Michael Connolly, JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Jane Austen, JK Rowling, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs and many others.
Betrayal
After finishing the second book in this trilogy, I'm really excited to get my hands on the third. Too bad I have to wait. *Grumble*The story really starts to pick up in the second book and it's a fast pace ride all the way to the end. I liked the tension with Emma and Bennett, I think this will be very interesting to see how it plays out in the next installment. I also thought the siren was a great addition. Things aren't going to be easy for Emma.
What has really intrigued me is the past lives of Emma and Bennett. I want to see if Emma prevails and also see if Emma and Bennett are doomed to repeat the same relationship as in the past.
This is a really good series so far. If you haven't checked them out yet, you really should!
