Past Perfect was a wonderful, heart warming tale of a girl just trying to move on. Chelsea was fun to read about. The last thing she wanted was to go back to work with her parents at Essex Historical Colonial Village and trouble ensues for her that could have all been avoided if only she had gotten that job at the mall.
What I liked most about this, was not that Chelsea had a few confrontations from her ex in this, but the 'War' that was going on between the two historical companies, right across the street from each other. I laughed at the antics each pulled to try to get the other in trouble and thought it had a really good Romeo and Juliet type story to it. Chelsea finds love, er, lust from a boy from the other side of the road. It's forbidden to even friend one of the enemy, much less want to date one. I think I enjoyed this more than I thought and all the trouble that was caused with the budding romance.
Charming story of a girl who wakes up and realizes that not all is what it had seemed at the time. A wonderful coming of age story.
