I didn't think it could get any more emotional. I was wrong. Adam's story is even more amazing. I wanted to wrap him up in a hug. He's dealt with so much and life is wearing on him. It was heartbreaking, reading his story. But a very amazing story.
We see Adam's tale, from three years after the incident. It was a good move, I thought, for a story. It's in the same format, current day with flash backs. The Hall's were Adam's second family, and I wasn't surprised to see him hurt by the loss. He's such a great character, he feels so much.
From the first book, to this one, I still couldn't help but think back to Teddy. I don't think I can even think of Teddy without wanting to cry. I kept wishing in the first one for him to be okay, but in this, knowing, it still made it hard. I have a feeling I will be thinking, dwelling, on this series for a few days, Teddy in particular.
Loved this series. It is probably one of the best I have read this year. You definitely need to take the time to look into these books. Simply amazing.
