I grew up reading books like The Babysitter Club and The Boxcar Kids. Now I read Romance, Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Dystopian and any mixture of these all depending on what my mood is. I love Stephen King, Michael Connolly, JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Jane Austen, JK Rowling, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs and many others.

Sleight - Jennifer Sommersby What a fantastic read! I was instantly pulled in and couldn't put this book down. I love how different it is, from most other YA and paranormal type books. I loved the Circus aspect of Gemma's life. It was a great background for this character and it's so unusual that it really helps the novel stand out.

This had a lot of world building to it, and most times that can make a book a little sluggish, but Jennifer Sommersby nailed this perfectly. We got the story without any part of it being overwhelming or being rushed. The story was slowly unraveled until the action really started and then everything was so faced paced that it had my heart racing, hoping for the best for both Henry and Gemma.

The AVRA-K Book was so interesting to read about. We don't get to learn too much about it in this book, we get the basics, as Henry and Gemma are in a race to save the humanity from a very dark future. I am excited to read on in this series. Things have heated up and left on such a note that leaves the reader crying for more (at least, I did).

I almost needed a tissue for this one. It had everything from first loves to lots of heartache. Lots of adventure, surprises, and twists. Friendships and betrayals. Basically, it has it all.
