Oh my goodness! I can't believe that ending! I am glad I'm a little late on the scene and can read, from what I hear, is the next two books to resolve this storyline. It was pure torture at the end, I was reading as fast as I could to hurry and see what else would happen. I will have to do a reread later to savor it a bit more.

I've heard tons of good things about this series and of course about Jace. I do agree, he's a very intriguing character and I'm glad I've finally got to meet him. The storyline wasn't too clear on the book blurb and soon I found myself enthralled in the pages, unwilling to put the book down for love or money (okay, you get the idea), until I had read every (well, almost every) last word. Okay, so I admit, I was so engulfed in the story I had to try my hardest not to skim too much at the end, but I could only hold myself back so much!

I'm glad to see the hype for this series isn't exaggerated. I found it adventurous, amusing, dramatic, and a little heartbreaking. I'm pretty sure I felt every emotion reading this book and when I finally put it down it had me desperate to get my hands on the next.
