I grew up reading books like The Babysitter Club and The Boxcar Kids. Now I read Romance, Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Dystopian and any mixture of these all depending on what my mood is. I love Stephen King, Michael Connolly, JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Jane Austen, JK Rowling, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs and many others.

Sophie & Carter

Sophie & Carter - Chelsea Fine I really enjoyed this but I had wished it was longer. It was sweet and charming in an unexpected way. Both Carter and Sophie aren't in the best of homes and somehow they still find ways to get up everyday. They are both strong characters, in having to deal with their home life, and I'm really glad I picked this up. Even if I wanted it to never end.

I was appalled, truly, with Sophie's mother. It saddened me that she had to deal with that and I was glad to see that Carter was there, even when he was dealing with his own problem. While it had its sad moments, I lived for the moments that made it all worth while, just like Sophie and Carter.

The only thing I would have changed, well not really changed, but I wanted to know a little more about the 'after' portion, when the book ended, I had wanted to have just a bit more to see how everything turned out. But it is still a great read and definitely worth picking up.
