I grew up reading books like The Babysitter Club and The Boxcar Kids. Now I read Romance, Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Dystopian and any mixture of these all depending on what my mood is. I love Stephen King, Michael Connolly, JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Jane Austen, JK Rowling, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs and many others.

One Night That Changes Everything

One Night That Changes Everything - Lauren Barnholdt I'm still on the fence with this one. I liked it in parts, but there were other parts that I didn't care for too much. I liked the idea of the book. It was fun and intriguing. I'm not so sure I really liked Cooper, even towards the end.

I thought this would be a really fun read. While it was fun, I had a hard time with Eliza's friends always seeming to ditch her and randomly disappear when she needed them most. And I'm not sure what to make of the secret society. It felt like a cop out for Cooper.

I really liked Eliza though. And I liked the idea of her notebook. How she wrote all her fears in there for years. I thought it was a pretty neat idea. I liked to see how her fears have evolved and it gave a bit of insight into what she worries about as each challenge was sent to her.
