Totally didn't read the first book (whoops!!) but I didn't feel like I had to. I love all things Maya Banks. I think she writes amazing romances and this, friends, was no exception. I have been reading a ton of YA lately and this made for a great genre break.

I love baby surprise books. I don't know why, but I do! And I think this, coupled with an amazing Maya Banks storyline, was a fabulous read. I was a little worried at first, because there are some strong allegations that play out, but I loved how it all worked out in the end. The characters were brilliant and lovable.
