First of all, I love the cover! This is one of the books on the list for the 2012 Contemp YA Challenge and it grabbed my attention from the start. Luckily, the story is even better. It was an enchanting story that begs to be read over and over again.

When I first picked this up, I thought that this would take place entirely on the plane. I'm glad we had the weekend instead. While I enjoyed their time on the plane, I really enjoyed how they reached out to each other after. It was a lot more emotional than I had anticipated, but in a very good way.

While I felt for both characters, I was glad to see a bit of Hadley before the plane ride. We get to see what makes her late and some of her feelings concerning her father and what she's about to do. Divorce can be hard. And not just on the parents. Seeing how this affected Hadley made her story all the more compelling. I spend the whole book rooting for her.
