I grew up reading books like The Babysitter Club and The Boxcar Kids. Now I read Romance, Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Dystopian and any mixture of these all depending on what my mood is. I love Stephen King, Michael Connolly, JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Jane Austen, JK Rowling, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs and many others.

A Match Made in High School

A Match Made in High School - Kristin Walker I wasn't entirely sure what to expect going into this one, but I have to say I really loved it! I thought it was really funny and not everything worked out like I thought (and I'm glad). The story was really well planned out and I lost myself in the pages waiting for the next thing that would happen. And there was always something interesting going on.

The matches in this couldn't have been more perfect. While things start out rough for some of the characters, things really evolve and some surprising things develop. I loved watching the transformation of the different "spouses" as they made their way through the marriage course. And it didn't affect just the students. It also seemed to affect some of the faculty, some more than others.

And it had more than just romance, it had a few storylines going on that really made the novel feel like you were living through it with Fiona, as she struggles with this new development and her life. This is definitely reread worthy and I definitely believe it is one of the better young adult novels out there. I'm glad I stumbled upon it and gave it a chance.
