I'm a little on the fence on this one. I love Austen retellings but I tend to shy away from the ones that seem to follow in the exact same footsteps as the original. The names, for the most part, stay the same while some of the connections change (as far as who is family and who isn't in this version). But the story is much the same.
I did enjoy it enough to not hate it, but it seemed like every little thing I could predict before it happened. Which isn't a bad thing, but it took the element of surprise out of most of the scenes when it unfolded much like the book. It wasn't anything amazing, I think the original is much better and more in depth as far as story and character development.
