I've blown through the first two of this series pretty fast and I am very happy with the outcome and story of book 3. This book breaks up the series structure nicely so that it doesn't get that repetitive feel to it. The only pattern I see so far, is the journey the hero and heroine take. If that's all that seems to stay the same for this series, I'd say this will end up being on my favorites list.

This takes place in Idaho. Far from the busy streets of Seattle. Rob Sutter is now a has been hockey player, cut short in his career. When I first started reading this book, I had the idea I might not like Rob so much. But as his story unfolded I really started to feel for him and he started to win me over. I loved Kate. After her rocky departure from Vegas, I found her relationship with her grandfather very endearing. It made for a great story.

I'm really liking the progression of this series. It's definitely addicting. While I have plenty of other books I have bought that are new and shiny (the first three were picked up at a used book store), I've put the others in this series ahead of my current read list. I can't wait to see what is in store for the other hockey players.
